How to Grow Durian Plants
Land Preparation
Durian grows best in warm, humid tropical climates.
Best soil: Deep, fertile, well-drained loamy soil.
Soil pH: 5.5 – 6.5
Dig pits of 3 ft × 3 ft × 3 ft.
Fill pits with:
• 25 kg Farm Yard Manure (FYM)
• 2 kg Vermicompost
• 1 kg Neem Cake
• Topsoil mixture
